Board of Trustees
Prairie State College is governed by a seven-member board of trustees, which is elected by the voters of Illinois Community College District 515. The Board of Trustees meetings are usually held on the last Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m. in the College Board Room (2274). All meetings, other than executive sessions, are open to the public.
Current board members:
- Jacqueline Agee, Chair
Jacqueline Agee, a resident of Chicago Heights, took her seat on the Board of Trustees in May of 2007 and was reelected in 2013. Ms. Agee is an attorney and specializes in municipal law. She was formerly a police officer for the City of Chicago Heights.
A graduate of Moraine Valley Community College, Ms. Agee earned her bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and a Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School. She is a member of the South Suburban Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Other community service includes volunteering with Eastern Will County Senior Services and previously serving as a state and local board member of the Police Benevolent & Protective Association of Illinois.
