Among the features of the celebration will be a Color Guard and National Anthem presentation, as well as a special "Missing Man Table" and memorial display.
Following a welcome address and opening comments by PSC President Eric Radtke will be an awards presentation, honoring Professor Andy Schott for his commitment to shaping the way colleges serve student veterans, and veteran student Suganna Taylor for her outstanding service to the student veterans of PSC.
PSC Board of Trustees Chair Jacqueline Agee will make closing remarks.
The celebration is open to the public, and will come to a close with an open house reception in the Student Veterans Center.
The Student Veterans Center at PSC opened in November 2011, and serves as the central hub for the PSC veterans program. It is a dedicated area designated for veterans, offering a mini-USO feel. It is a one-stop shop for veterans to connect and network with one another, as well as help them adjust to college life.
