PSC Christopher Art Gallery Presenting 2016 Graduate Exhibition [05/02/2016]
Works of art from 14 graduating Prairie State College (PSC) students is on display through Wednesday, May 25, in the Christopher Art Gallery, located on the PSC main campus at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
The exhibit features works that include drawings, paintings, photography, and mixed-media pieces by the students who are completing degrees in fine arts, graphic communications, and photography.
PSC student artists whose work will be featured in the exhibit are Janice Black of Calumet City, Nicole Brassfield of Lowell, Ind., Sarah Chapman of Crete, Maria Forbes of Richton Park, Monica Gideon of Glenwood, Anthony Manson of Park Forest, Kenya Moffett-Garner of Glenwood, Annabelle Mullennix of Matteson, Akosua Nartey of Matteson, Alexandria Reed of Calumet City, Luke Rhodes of Homewood, Amy Roesch of Homewood, Alex Rosales of Chicago Heights and Carl Sago of Sauk Village.
Professor Paul Rinaldi, coordinator of PSC’s fine arts program, is the curator of the exhibition.
The Christopher Art Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Visits also can be made by appointment.
