Hoopin for a Hero

The Prairie State College (PSC) Athletic Department and PSC Foundation recently hosted “Hoopin’ for a Hero,” a charity basketball game to benefit Officer Tim Jones of the Park Forest Police Department, who was seriously injured in the line of duty in March 2016. Officer Jones (third from left) and his father, Country Club Hills Police Department Chief William Jones (second from left), joined PSC Athletic Director Chris Zorich (left) and PSC Board of Trustees Chair Jacqueline Agee (right), an officer with the South Chicago Heights Police Department, to watch members of the south suburban police departments take on the PSC Pioneers Men’s Basketball team. To date, the event has raised more than $3000 to support Officer Tim Jones and his family.
