Spring Registration Opens Soon at PSC [10/12/2017]
New and continuing students will soon have the opportunity to register for credit and non-credit courses offered during the 2018 spring semester at Prairie State College (PSC). Priority registration begins Oct. 16, and open registration begins Oct. 23.
PSC offers flexible scheduling options for credit courses, including 16 - 14-, 12- and eight-week choices, with convenient start dates throughout the semester. Classes are offered during the day, evening and online to make college more convenient for students.
The 16-week and first eight-week courses begin Jan. 16, classes for the 14-week session begin Jan. 29, 12-week courses begin Feb. 9 and the second eight week session begins March 19. All courses offer the same course material and credit hours. For shorter weeks, class session times are extended.
Non-credit courses include a variety of single-day and multiple-session offerings that begin during the spring. Both credit and non-credit courses are listed in the spring class schedule.
To register for credit courses, new students must complete an enrollment application in person at the college or online. Current students can register for credit courses online or in-person at Enrollment Services located on the PSC main campus, at 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.
Students can register for non-credit courses online or in-person. To register online via Instant Enrollment, go to prairiestate.edu and select “How to Register for Non-Credit Courses” from the A-Z Index. Another option is to complete the registration form available online at prairiestate.edu/noncredit or in the back of the printed course schedule. Students also can register for non-credit courses in person at the Matteson Area Center, located at 4821 Southwick Drive in Matteson, or in the Enrollment Services Office on the PSC main campus.
