This History and Culture program is designed to give participants an immersion experience in the history and culture of Australia. Students will have the opportunity to learn from the area experts and enjoy historic, cultural, and environmental sites.
Instruction related to this program will entail both classroom instruction on the ICMS campus and numerous field trips and immersion experiences. There are lectures on the history of Australia in the mornings and field trips to the historical and cultural sites each afternoon. There are also some overnight excursions to the Blue Mountains and Outback.
