Summer 2012 Tuition Rates

In-District Residents and Employees of In-District Companies
$91 + $13 fee* = $104 per credit hour

 

Out-of-District Residents
$258 + $13 fee = $271 per credit hour

 

Out-of-State/International Students
$331 + $13 fee = $344 per credit hour

 

Lake County, Indiana, Residents
$105 + $13 fee = $118 per credit hour

 

International Students
$331 + $13 fee = $344 per credit hour

 

Registration fee: $10 per semester

 

Re-enrollment fee: Students who were previously enrolled and were dropped for non-payment will be billed a $25 re-enrollment fee.

Special Tuition Discounts

Special discounts and tuition-free arrangements are available for eligible senior citizens, employees of in-district companies, and high school seniors.

**In-District Residents and Employees of In-District Companies
$101tuition + $15 fee = $116 per credit hour


**Out-of-District Residents
$260 tuition + $15 fee = $275 per credit hour  


**Out-of-State/International Students
$300 tuition + $15 fee = $315 per credit hour


** Lake County Residents
$300 tuition + 15 fee =$315 per credit hour.

 

Lake County, Indiana students currently enrolled in the academic year 2011-12 will not be charged the Out of State tuition rate for one year.  Existing Lake County students will pay:
$115 tuition + $15 fee = $130 per credit hour.

 

**The Nursing, Dental Hygiene, and Surgical Technology $50 per credit hour surcharge will not apply for one year to students that enrolled in these programs in academic year 2011-12.   Beginning with the fall 2012 semester, new students enrolling in Nursing, Dental Hygiene, and Surgical Technology classes there is a $50 per credit hour surcharge.

 

*General Credit hour fees (detail): $15

 Athletic Fee (ATHFE) $3.00 ($2.50 per credit hour; $.50 Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference): This fee is allocated to support PSC athletic programs and facilities.

 
Educational Fund Fee (EDUFE) $2.00 per credit hour:          
This fee is allocated to support our education fund which is for costs directly related to student educational programs.

 
Extracurricular Fee (EXCFE) $.25 per credit hour:
This fee is allocated to support extra activities, like student government.


Student Activity/Service Fee (STDFE)   $.25 per credit hour:
This fee is allocated to support student organizations.


Technology Fee (TECFE) $5.50 per credit hour: This fee is allocated to support the technology systems and upgrades for technology services and equipment.


Infrastructure Fee (INFFE)   $4.00 per credit hour: This fee is allocated to support the cost of maintaining buildings, parking lots, and grounds. 


Administrative Fees:
