  • Teach Elementary Algebra to trial-admit students in the summer

SERVICE TO THE DEPARTMENT- Prairie State College

  • Involved in the development of learning communities, computer based instruction, and inquiry based learning within the department funded through the college’s Title III grant, Spring 2006
  • Mathematics Department Search Committee Chair, Spring 2005, Spring 2006 and Spring 2007
  • Worked with the college administration to create a Math Lab/Classroom for Preservice Teacher courses, May 2004-August 2006
  • Served on a four person intradepartmental committee to revise the Elementary Algebra test bank, Fall 2004
  • Helped to develop a Math course for the new Paraprofessional Program, 2003-2004
  • Solely developed Linear Algebra course, Spring 2004
  • Mathematics faculty tenure committee member, 2003-2004 and 2005-2011 (total of 5 math faculty members)
  • Along with one other faculty member, successfully started and maintained the Prairie State College annual “Integration Bee”, April 2003-present
