What Can You Do with a Degree in Fire Science Technology?

With this degree, you can work as a firefighter, fire inspector, or emergency response technician. You’ll be prepared to respond to fires, accidents, and other emergencies, conduct fire safety inspections, and assist in disaster preparedness efforts. This degree positions you to make a meaningful difference in community safety and emergency response.
The demand for trained firefighters and emergency responders remains steady, especially as communities prioritize public safety and disaster preparedness. Graduates with an A.A.S. in Fire Science Technology can pursue roles such as firefighter, fire inspector, emergency management coordinator, or fire safety officer. The degree also provides a solid foundation for career advancement into supervisory or specialized roles within fire departments and emergency services.
