Registration for 2024 Spring Semester begins Oct. 30 at Prairie State College

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. – Open registration for the 2024 Spring Semester begins on Monday, Oct. 30, at Prairie State College (PSC), offering a broad range of courses tailored to meet the diverse academic needs of the community. With a commitment to affordability and flexibility, PSC serves as a gateway to success for individuals looking to start or continue their educational journey. 

Dr. Michael Anthony, president of PSC, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming semester, stating, "We look forward to welcoming students and supporting them as they work toward reaching their goals. PSC offers a wide array of courses spanning various disciplines, with in-person, hybrid, and online options with multiple learning formats and flexible start dates to ensure students can pursue their education in a way that aligns with their preferences. Flexible start dates include 16-, 14-, 12- and eight-week courses. 

• 16-week and first eight-week: Jan. 9. 
• 14-week: Jan. 29. 
• 12-week: Feb. 9, 
• Second eight-week: March 18. 

To enroll, prospective students must first complete an online application. First-time college students must speak with an advisor to register for the first semester by making an appointment on Qless. Current and returning PSC students can register through the PSC Portal or complete an Online Registration Form. All classes are listed on the Pioneer Portal, along with instructions on how to search for available courses.

The college is open to the community from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday, with extended hours, closing at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Current hours of operation for individual departments are listed on the general information page at prairiestate.edu.
