The Office of Student Engagement & First Year Experience (FYE) provides a range of resources to help students and student organizations get involved, stay connected, and lead successful campus initiatives.

We offer support and services including:

  • Event Planning & Expenditure Support – Guidance on space reservations, event logistics, vendor coordination, purchasing procedures, and overall planning to ensure successful, well-managed events
  • Student Organization Advising – Assistance with starting a new club, managing budgets, maintaining active status, and navigating leadership transitions
  • Posting & Promotion Approvals – Submit flyers, digital signage, and tabling requests to promote events and initiatives on campus
  • Civic Engagement & Voter Education – Access nonpartisan resources to register to vote and stay informed on ballot issues
  • 1:1 Support & Leadership Development – Meet with our team to explore involvement opportunities, get help with planning, or grow your leadership skills
