What does it mean to you to be asked to speak at Graduation?
It’s a big honor. I’m very excited, because I get to talk to the students. This gives me the opportunity and platform to speak to all of them at once.
What are some advantages of taking Science Courses at Prairie State College?
The faculty is amazing. We have some of the best trained faculty. We have great connections out into the scientific community. We have a whole suite of instrumentation that rivals a four-year college. We give students the time to explore things.
Fun Fact about yourself that No One Knows?
I worked as a scientific analyst at the Pentagon prior to my teaching career.
If you could have any Fictional Character as a best friend, who would it be?
Odie (Garfield). He’s always peppy and outgoing and kind of clueless to the mean terrible things in the world. He’s always just expecting things to go well.
