Favorite Part about working at PSC?

It's interacting with the students. As cliché as it sounds, every semester, class, class period gives me a unique opportunity to have new conversations with students. Even if I give the same lecture, it’s never going to be the same discussion twice.

What are some advantages of taking social science classes at Prairie State College?

Taking any of your gen ed classes at community college is a great choice for the student. It allows for them to feel out the classes, majors and to become familiar with all the disciplines. A lot of times you don’t really know what you want or like when you get out of high school. Coming to a community college is a local, affordable way to become more familiar with what’s out there.
