Description: Prairie State College (“College” or “PSC”) invites qualified, experienced, and properly licensed organizations to submit proposals to provide Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training services for the College’s Workforce Development and Community Education programs. 

The College intends to select a qualified training provider that can deliver a safe, compliant, student-centered Class A CDL program; support strong permit, skills-test, and licensure outcomes; provide 
appropriate student support and career-placement assistance; and work collaboratively with PSC to operate the program in a manner consistent with College policies, Illinois requirements, and applicable federal requirements. 

The College anticipates operating approximately twelve (12) to fifteen (15) cohorts per year, with up to twenty (20) students per cohort, plus approximately three (3) to five (5) independent-study students annually. These numbers are estimates only and do not constitute a guarantee of enrollment, classes, revenue, or work. 

The College is seeking a two-year initial agreement (starting January 1, 2027) with the option, at the College’s discretion and subject to agreement of the parties, to renew for up to three additional one-year terms.
