Student Ambassador
We’re looking for students to represent the college as Brand Ambassadors! This is
an opportunity to work directly with PSCreative, PSC’s Marketing and Communications
team. Students will have the opportunity to The Student Ambassador Program at Prairie
State College will be a vital link between students and the campus community
Ambassadors will serve as knowledgeable guides for prospective and current students, fostering a positive atmosphere through their active participation in events and outreach. This program not only enhances the college's reputation but also provides students with opportunities to develop crucial leadership and communication skills, contributing to their personal and professional growth.
Day to Day For an Ambassador
- Work closely with other student ambassadors to collaborate on content creation and discuss ideas.
- Come up with two unique posts per calendar month
- Be able to attend and participate in regularly scheduled (monthly) hour-long brainstorming meetings. Participate in check-in meetings with members of the Prairie State College Marketing and Communications team to discuss how things are going, get assignments, share updates, discuss strategies, ask questions, etc.
- Attend events as a member of the marketing team and perform marketing tasks as assigned. You are a student first and will not be assigned something if your schedule does not allow for it.
- Wear and perform in the Parker (mascot) costume at special events, including promotions, possible community outreach programs and marketing photoshoots.
