Online Job Board

Prairie State College’s Student Career Development Center is proud to be a member of College Central Network (CCN), a consortium of 12 community college career development and placement offices in northern Illinois. This Web site is free to both job seekers and employers and consists of two easy-to-use parts:

  1. Employers can post a position or internship that can be viewed by up to all 12 colleges. They can contact job seekers directly via e-mail.
  2. Job seekers can register online and have 24-hour access to the Web site. Job seekers can search for positions or internships by location, category or company name and can contact employers directly.

Institutions must make available to current and prospective students information regarding the placement in employment of, and types of employment obtained by, graduates of the institution's degree or certificate programs.  Institutions must identify the source of the placement information and any time frames and methodology associated with it.

Prairie State College does not place students in jobs and does not calculate or advertise placement rates as a means of recruiting students to enroll. However, through The Student Career Development Center, PSC students and graduates can receive a variety of employment services to assist them with obtaining employment during and after completion of their academic program.

The Student Career Development Center provides job postings and information to current students and alumni through databases accessed through the Student Career Development Center website. For questions regarding placement in employment, you may contact The Student Career Development Center.
