Welcome to the PEACE Center! Throughout the year, the PEACE Center staff organizes vibrant programming events and exciting outings to honor and celebrate cultural heritage months, including but not limited to Black History Month, Pride Month, and Women’s History Month. From guest speaker sessions addressing impactful topics to documentary screenings that spark meaningful discussions, we aim to create opportunities for engagement and learning about important global issues.
Be sure to visit our PEACE Center, located in Room 1140 in the main building. Don’t
miss our “Peaceful Tuesdays,” held on the first Tuesday of every month. From 11 AM

hot tea—the perfect way to recharge and refocus for the week ahead.
Join us in fostering a community of peace, learning, and inclusivity!

One Million Degrees offers support and up to $1000 in stipends to participants. In our new partnership with OMD, we assign 60 male African American and Latinx students to PEACE Center coordinators for personalized support and monthly programs tailored to meet their needs. The students attend information and Scholar Intake Sessions to establish connections and build plans for success before getting paired with an OMD Coach who will work with them throughout the year.
"I am confident that working with these exceptional OMD scholars will lead to continued success.”
