What Can You Do with a Degree in History or Liberal Arts?
At Prairie State College, our history classes offer a diverse range of studies, delving
into various aspects of United States history, as well as ancient and modern global

While history majors have historically pursued careers in teaching, museum curation,
journalism, law, and politics, the skills cultivated through historical studies are
